The PNN Guide

Adding and Editing Articles

Adding text to your broadcast and editing it is easy. First we'll add a text box, and then we'll add an article.

To Do: Click on the "Add Text" tool.

The text tool window opens up. On the left is a list of your articles. To begin, you'll see just one, titled, "New Article," which should be highlighted. On the right is the article itself.

To Do: On the right, put your cursor in the title area, highlight "New Article," and type "Fox Escapes!" in the box.

Then put your cursor in the article area, highlight "Enter Text Here," and type, "The quick brown fox leaves town, jumps over the lazy dog."

You'll notice that you can choose the color, font or style of the text. Go ahead and do so, if you wish.

To Do: Finally, hit "Add Article" in the bottom right corner of the window.

Viola! You'll see your new article in your broadcast. Okay, let's add another article.

To Do: Locate the "Fox" article box in your broadcast and click on "edit" in the edit bar at the top of the box.

This time on the left you'll see the title of your one article: "Fox Escapes!."

To Do: Click on "Add New Article" at the bottom of the LEFT window.

You've just added a new article, titled "New Article" (clever title huh?).

Every time you add a new article to your broadcast, it's placed at the top of the column and pushes all the other articles down.
